CLÉVIA started with a simple frustration: tallow works, but most tallow balms feel like grease. So we whipped ours, light, airy, quick to absorb, and kept the ingredient list to three.

Our mission:
At CLÉVIA, we are dedicated to making clean, simple skincare that you can feel good about putting on your body. Too many creams are mostly water, fillers and fragrance with a long label to hide it. We wanted the opposite: three real ingredients, nothing added to pad out the jar.
Our story:
CLÉVIA is a small, family-run brand built around one product we actually use every day. It began at home, in a kitchen, out of frustration: tallow genuinely works for dry skin, but almost every tallow balm we tried felt like grease sitting on the face. So we kept rendering, blending and whipping batches until the texture was light enough to wear in the morning and rich enough to repair-feeling hands at night.
We still make it in small batches, whipping and hand-filling every 4 oz jar and checking each one before it ships. As word spread we brought the cream to Amazon so customers could order it with Prime delivery, tracking and easy returns, and we now offer it in three versions: Herb-Infused, Vanilla Lavender and Unscented.
Every jar you receive is carefully made and whipped by hand by us.
Why us:
We differ from large, mass-produced skincare companies because we genuinely care about the ingredients you are putting on your skin. One of our main differentiators is our use of jojoba oil instead of olive oil. Jojoba is light, non-comedogenic and closest to the sebum skin already makes, so the cream absorbs cleanly instead of leaving a heavy film. We pair it with 100% grass-fed beef tallow, naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E and K, and a slow botanical infusion of calendula, rose and chamomile. That is the whole formula.
We are also honest about what a moisturizer can do. CLÉVIA is a cosmetic cream, not a medicine: it helps skin feel softer, calmer and better hydrated, and look smoother, and we do not claim to treat any skin condition. Everyone's skin is different, so we suggest a patch test first and we keep returns simple through Amazon's 30-day window if it isn't right for you.

Our family story
A story that starts at home
CLÉVIA was never meant to be a brand. It started in our own kitchen, on evenings after work, with a hand mixer, a glass bowl and one stubborn problem: every tallow balm we bought felt heavy, and we wanted something our whole family could happily use every day.
So we made it ourselves. We rendered the tallow slow, stirred in jojoba oil, let calendula, rose and chamomile infuse gently, and whipped batch after batch until the texture finally felt right — light enough for the morning, comforting enough for dry-feeling hands at night. Our family were the first testers, and they still are.
We are a small, family-run business, and we like it that way. Every jar is still whipped and hand-filled by us, in small batches, and checked before it ships. When you open a jar of CLÉVIA, you are getting what we would hand to our own family — because in a way, we did.
The formula
Why tallow at all?
Grass-fed beef tallow is close in structure to the lipids in human skin, which is why it absorbs so willingly. It carries naturally occurring vitamins A, D, E and K, and it needs no water, emulsifier or filler to hold together, so a jar is exactly what it says it is.
We add jojoba oil for a lighter slip and infuse the batch slowly with calendula, rose and chamomile. Then it's whipped until fluffy. No added fragrance in the unscented jar, no parabens anywhere, no bulking agents.
