Question 1

Does it smell like beef?

Accepted Answer

No. The tallow is carefully rendered and the herbal infusion keeps it clean-smelling. The unscented jar has only a faint natural richness; the scented jars smell of herbs or vanilla and lavender.

Question 2

Will it clog my pores?

Accepted Answer

Tallow is close in structure to skin's own lipids and most people use it on the face without issue. If your skin is very oily or acne-prone, patch test on the jawline for a week first.

Question 3

How much should I use?

Accepted Answer

A pea-sized amount for the whole face. Warm it between your fingertips and press it into slightly damp skin. Use more generously on hands, elbows and heels.

Question 4

What exactly is in it?

Accepted Answer

Grass-fed beef tallow, jojoba oil, and a botanical infusion of calendula, rose and chamomile. Scented versions add only their scent. No fillers, no water, no parabens.

Question 5

Is it safe during pregnancy or for children?

Accepted Answer

The formula is simple and fragrance-free in the unscented version, which many parents prefer for children. As with any product, check with your doctor if you have specific concerns.

Question 6

How is it stored and how long does it last?

Accepted Answer

Keep the jar closed at room temperature and out of direct sun. In hot weather the whip may soften, it firms back up and works exactly the same.

Question 7

Where do you ship and how do I order?

Accepted Answer

Orders are fulfilled through our Amazon storefront, sold and shipped by CLÉVIA with fast US delivery and Prime eligibility. Returns follow Amazon's 30-day refund or replacement policy.

Question 8

How long does shipping take?

Accepted Answer

Most US orders arrive in 2 to 5 business days, and next-day where Prime delivery is available. You will get tracking by email as soon as the jar leaves the warehouse.

Question 9

Can I return it if my skin doesn't like it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery for a refund or a replacement, even on an opened jar. Full details are on our Return & Refund Policy page.

Question 10

Which scent should I start with?

Accepted Answer

Herb-Infused is the everyday best seller, Vanilla Lavender is the calming evening jar, and Unscented is the safest pick for reactive or fragrance-averse skin.

Question 11

Is it only for the face?

Accepted Answer

No, the same jar works on the face, hands, elbows, heels, and dry patches on arms and legs. Use a pea-sized amount on the face and a little more on the body.

Question 12

Do you test on animals?

Accepted Answer

Never. We make small batches by hand and test them on ourselves, friends and family.

Question 13

How do you handle my personal information?

Accepted Answer

We only keep the email you give us and never sell your details. Read our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
